How it is structured

A first part frames the issue of biodiversity in cities in Italy from the perspective of planning and design. Then, four sections investigate research outcomes with reference to policies, plans, projects and co-creation processes for urban biodiversity, integrating, each, an introductory text, the narrative of two or three case studies and good practices, and a commentary text; a final section investigates the public debate on the issue.
