More than 30 (in 13 months of work) species have been immortalized in the green areas of Florence and province. They include skunks, porcupines, foxes, hares, deer, roe deer but also the rare wild cat, and even wolves. The project involved the installation of 40 phototraps in parks, historic gardens and urban green areas with the aim of monitoring local wildlife and better understanding the ecological dynamics of urban environments.

Through it, it is possible to acquire scientific data on urban biodiversity and raise awareness of the importance of protecting ecosystems even in heavily man-made settings.
