From wildfires in Tuscany to storm damage VAIA in Veneto, ecological restoration takes shape in real projects that test new techniques to recover soils and biodiversity. In Montemagno-La Verruca, resilient species and soil conditions after repeated fires are analyzed; along the Po, forests are planted in floodplain areas monitored by satellites and ground surveys. In the Asiago Plateau, differentiated interventions are tested on three areas affected by extreme weather events. Finally, in Montalto di Castro, a 70-hectare photovoltaic plant is being designed to be compatible with biodiversity conservation.
